Ronald Chung

Ronald Chung is the current Dean of the School of Continuing Education at Hong Kong Baptist University. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Vocational Training Council from December 2012 to May 2018. Ronald has also been a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong since December 1992, where they also served as the department chair and associate dean.

Ronald Chung studied at The University of Hong Kong, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Ronald then went on to study at University of Southern California, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

Ronald Chung reports to Rick Wong, Interim Provost. They are on a team with Edward Snape - Dean, School of Business, Steve Guo - Interim Dean, School of Communication, and Lyu Aiping - Dean, School of Chinese Medicine.
