Tobby Fu

Tobby FU is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, and knowledge transfer within leading academic institutions. Most recently, Tobby served as the Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Hong Kong Baptist University, where responsibilities included driving research and development initiatives and bridging technology readiness gaps between academia and industry. Prior roles included Acting Director of the Knowledge Transfer Office at Hong Kong Baptist University, Head of Robotics and Autonomous Systems at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Director of Technical Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at ASTRI. Tobby has successfully developed strategic alliances across various sectors, focusing on emerging technologies such as GreenTech, AI, and smart manufacturing. Tobby holds an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from HKUST Business School and a certification in Innovation and Technology Commercialization from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
