Andrew Brown

Andrew Brown has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as an English Teacher at Lemon Tree. Andrew then became an Account Executive at Elite Step Asia from 2011 to 2013. Afterwards, they joined Laxton and held various roles, including Events Manager from 2013 to 2015, Senior Events Manager from 2015 to 2016, and Operations Director from 2016 to 2017. Andrew'smost recent position is with Hong Kong China Rugby, where they started as an Events Manager in August 2017 and later became the Head of Events in July 2022. At Hong Kong China Rugby, Andrew's responsibilities include managing event budgets, overseeing the delivery of sponsor entitlements, and working closely with various departments to coordinate and organize rugby-related events. Andrew has successfully delivered several major events, including the inaugural Global Rapid Rugby 2019 Showcase Series and Super Rugby matches in Hong Kong.

Andrew Brown attended The University of Manchester from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a BA (Hons) degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management. Following that, they pursued an (MSc) degree in Marketing Management at De Montfort University from 2009 to 2010. Prior to their university education, they attended Fettes College in Edinburgh from 2001 to 2005, completing their secondary education with GCSE and A Level qualifications. From 1998 to 2001, they received their secondary school education at Sha Tin College in Hong Kong. In terms of additional certifications, Andrew obtained the IRB Coaching Level One certification from IRB & HKRU in December 2013.
