Rod Lai, MBA has a diverse work experience starting from 2020. Rod currently serves as the Director of Community at the Hong Kong Rugby Union. In 2019, they worked as an Advisor on the Organizing Committee for the Hult Prize Foundation, a global movement that challenges young people to solve societal issues through entrepreneurship. Rod also held multiple roles at ICBC (Asia), including Managing Director of the Greater Bay Area Corporate Banking Department and Executive Director. In addition, they have served as President of the Hong Kong City Rugby Club. Earlier in their career, Rod worked as a Rugby Team Coach at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and as a Team Manager for the Senior Warriors XVs National Team at the Hong Kong Rugby Union.

Seeking further specialization, Rod joined Imperial College London to pursue another Master of Business Administration degree. Additionally, Rod holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from City University of Hong Kong, with a specialization in marketing and a minor in finance, further reflecting their dedication to the field of business.
