Assistant User Experience Design Director at Hong Kong Economic Times Limited

Jacky Wan has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of user experience design, front-end development, teaching, and graphic and web design. Jacky started their career in 2004 as a Graphic and Multimedia Designer at Welkin Systems Limited. Jacky then worked as a Graphic and Web Designer at winet Ltd from 2006 to 2007. Following that, they joined MGX Asia Ltd as a Senior Designer from 2007 to 2012. In 2013, they became an Interaction Designer at ideasparks Ltd until 2014. Jacky then served as a Lecturer at The Hong Kong Art School from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they joined Accenture Interactive as a UX Designer / Front-end Developer until 2016. Currently, they are an Assistant User Experience Design Director at 香港經濟日報 and is responsible for creating and maintaining UX/UI guidelines and design, providing design plans for website and app development, and developing new business models with digital solutions.

Jacky Wan earned a Master's degree in Media Cultures (MAMC) from City University of Hong Kong, where they attended from 2015 to 2018 on a part-time basis. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2013, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied and Media Arts from Poly U Speed. Additionally, in May 2018, they completed the "Drupal 8 Essential Training: 2 Building Out Your Website" certification through LinkedIn.
