Vijay Varghese

Vijay Varghese is an experienced professional in technology risk management and information security, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited since March 2017, after holding the position of Vice President in the same department. Prior to HKEX, Vijay worked as Director at Cybrisk Limited, where responsibilities included enhancing a global Identity and Access Management platform for Deutsche Bank. Additional experience includes roles at Deloitte, where Vijay served as Senior Consultant and Consultant, and significant contributions as Security Consultant at Company85 and as Data Protection Project Manager at Symantec. Vijay holds a BSc in IT Management for Business from Northumbria University and completed foundational education at Coleraine Academical Institution.
