Hong Kong Football Club
Sport is at the heart of the Hong Kong Football Club but our activities and the use of our facilities go far beyond just playing sport. Our superb facilities across a wide range of competitive and recreational sports make this one of the finest sporting clubs in Asia. However, it is the use of these facilities by teams and players in the local Hong Kong community and our ability to host top international sporting events, that make the Hong Kong Football Club a key contributor to Hong Kong’s thriving sporting and social community. As our name reflects Hong Kong Football Club was established in Hong Kong in 1886 as a club for playing Association Football and Rugby Football and these remain two of the Club’s five core sports: rugby, soccer, hockey, squash and lawn bowls. In addition, we operate a Netball Division and have Societies and Interest Groups actively involved in tennis, badminton, swimming and triathlon, golf, tenpin bowling plus there are extensive facilities for a broad choice of fitness and leisure activities.
