Where Aviation Careers Take Flight! The Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA), the first civil aviation academy in Hong Kong, is established by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) in 2016. The Aviation Academy offers a comprehensive aviation-related curriculum to aviation professionals, industry newcomers and young people who would like to pursue their career in aviation industry. The Aviation Academy has become a member company of HKIA SHL, a subsidiary of the AAHK in December 2019. Vision To establish Hong Kong’s position as a regional civil aviation training hub by providing educational programmes and practical hands-on training for the aviation industry. Mission To create a training facility for aviation professionals in Hong Kong and around the region, aiming to: · Nurture young talent and provide career advancement for the continuous development of Hong Kong’s aviation industry; and · Develop a training hub that will support the sustainable growth of the regional aviation industry
