Tony Tam

Tony Tam has a strong background in technology and telecommunications. Tony started their career in 1998 at New World Mobility, where they worked as a Mobile Service/Product Development Professional. Tony was responsible for collaborating with different departments and external parties to develop high-quality mobile value-added services.

In 2003, Tony joined Toplux Hong Kong Limited as a Mobile Product Development Professional. Tony oversaw a wide range of responsibilities, including leading product development teams, working with manufacturers and suppliers, and managing the entire product development cycle.

After three years, Tony moved on to Octopus Cards Limited, where they held the role of Contactless Payment Business and Product Development Professional. During this time, they worked on the development of contactless payment solutions.

In 2009, Tony joined Hutchison Telecommunication (HK) Limited as a Telecommunication and Mobile Technology/Innovation/Product Development Lead. In this role, they were responsible for mastering new and advanced technologies, driving the technology direction of the company, and managing teams to meet technological needs.

Most recently, Tony worked at HKSTP - Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. Tony first served as the Corporate Partnership Lead, responsible for managing corporate partnerships. Tony then transitioned to the role of Strategic Development Lead, where they played a key role in driving strategic development initiatives.

Tony Tam received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Hong Kong in 2012. Tony also holds a Master Degree in Electronic Engineering with Business Management from City University of Hong Kong, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from City University of Hong Kong in the same time period.
