Azrina Amir

Azrina Amir has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Azrina started their career at HL Bank as a Money Market Dealer in 2001. Azrina then joined AIA Insurance Indonesia as a Management Associate, specializing in underwriting. After that, they worked at American International Assurance (AIA) as an Assistant Manager in Underwriting and later as a Manager in the Call Center - Customer Service. In 2006, they became an Assistant Vice President at Etiqa Insurance & Takaful Berhad, where they managed document management projects. Azrina then moved to AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad as a Manager in Underwriting & Branch Operations, responsible for life medical underwriting and branch management. In 2012, Azrina joined Hong Leong Assurance as the Head of New Business & Underwriting before transitioning to Gibraltar BSN Life Berhad as a Senior Manager in New Business & Underwriting. Currently, they are the Head of Policy Administration & Employee Benefits Operations at Hong Leong Assurance Berhad.

Azrina Amir completed their LLB degree in Law at the University of Nottingham from 1995 to 1998. Azrina then pursued a Masters in Business Administration at Universiti Teknologi MARA from 1998 to 2000, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they attended Mill Hill School in London from 1993 to 1995.
