Eric Leong

Eric Leong, PMP, CSM, SAFe SPC, is an experienced professional with a diverse range of roles in project management and technology. Eric currently serves as the Head of the Transformation Office at Hong Leong Assurance Berhad, where they are responsible for translating business strategy into project portfolios and leading the business solution team. Previously, Eric worked at MetLife as the Director of Projects Asia and Senior Project Manager. Eric also held roles at DXC Technology as a Software Development Manager, Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Software Development Manager, BSC Global Pte Ltd as a Managing Consultant, Experian Decision Analytics as a Project Manager, EDS Malaysia as a Lead Project Manager, TESS International as an Assistant Vice President in Systems & Methods, and Koperasi Jayadiri Malaysia Berhad as an IT Manager. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and project management expertise in various industries.

Eric Leong has a Bachelor of IT degree from the University of Southern Queensland, which they obtained between 1996 and 2000. In terms of certifications, they are a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, and a SAFe Program Consultant (5.0, 4.6) from Scaled Agile, Inc. Additionally, they hold an ITIL V3 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. The year and month of obtaining these certifications vary between 2011 and 2019. It is not specified when they obtained the PRINCE2 Foundation certification.
