Brian Kandler

Brian Kandler is a seasoned Government Relations and Regulatory Advisor at Honigman LLP since March 2018, providing guidance on economic development, public policy, and regulatory matters while representing clients in interactions with government entities. Previously, Brian worked as a Government Affairs Consultant at RWC Advocacy, focusing on diverse sectors from January 2012 to March 2018. From February 2008 to January 2012, Brian served as the Director of Government Relations at the Detroit Regional Chamber, where lobbying on energy, environmental, and telecommunications issues was a key responsibility. Earlier experiences include legislative roles at the Michigan House of Representatives and working as an intern in the Senate Democratic Central Staff and Miller, Canfield, Paddock, and Stone Law Firm. Brian holds a BA from the University of Michigan, obtained in 2004.
