Esther Bowers has a diverse work experience in the legal industry. Esther started their career in 2004 as a Meetings and Marketing Coordinator at the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law. Esther later became a Meeting Planner for the same section before joining Winston & Strawn LLP as a Continuing Legal Education Specialist in 2006. Esther then moved back to the American Bar Association and held the role of Meetings and CLE Manager for the Section of Litigation, followed by the position of Educational Programs Manager.

In 2010, Esther joined Barnes & Thornburg LLP as a Business Development Manager, where they were responsible for marketing and business development initiatives. Esther later became the Manager of Client Service Initiatives and co-led the firm's BT ValueWorks program. In 2012, they briefly worked as a Business Development Manager at Honigman LLP before returning to Barnes & Thornburg LLP as the Director of Client Service Initiatives.

Esther's most recent role was at Honigman LLP, where they held several positions. Esther started as the Director of Practice Management in 2018, leading the firm's FOCUS program and coordinating cross-departmental task forces. Esther then became the Chief Practice Management Officer, focusing on improving operations, enhancing the firm's brand, and leading the FOCUS program. Currently, Esther serves as the Chief Practice Innovation Officer, playing a key role in the firm's Operating Committee and Practice Technology Steering Committee, and leading the FOCUS program to drive efficiencies and value.

Esther Bowers completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago, which they pursued from 2002 to 2003. In addition to their degree, they also obtained two certifications. In December 2014, Esther received the certification in Fundamentals of Legal Project Management from the Legal Project Management Institute. In November 2014, they obtained a White Belt certification from the Legal Lean Sigma Institute LLC.
