Thomas Newnum

Thomas Newnum is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in community development, mortgage advisory, and branch management. Currently serving as a Community Development Officer at Honor Credit Union since August 2023, Thomas previously held the position of Mortgage Advisor at United Federal Credit Union, where 113 mortgage loans were successfully booked, totaling over $18 million in production. Prior to that, Thomas contributed to the community as Community Assistant Vice President at Honor Credit Union, assisting businesses in securing over $3 million in disaster relief funding. With a robust background in relationship building and community engagement, Thomas has consistently increased branch assets and enhanced operational efficiency throughout a career that includes key leadership roles and honorable service as an Air Traffic Control Specialist in the US Army. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cornerstone University and additional training from Michigan State University.
