Daniela Rivera Alvarado

Daniela Rivera Alvarado has a strong background in software development and engineering management. Daniela currently holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Honor Education, Et Al since March 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the COO of Datalitica starting from January 2018. Daniela also worked at Stitch Fix as an Engineering Manager from November 2021 to February 2022 and previously as a Solutions Architect from November 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining Stitch Fix, they were part of DocuSign where they held multiple roles including Senior Engineering Manager from February 2019 to November 2019, Technical Lead from January 2016 to January 2019, and Engineering Manager from May 2014 to January 2016. During their time at DocuSign, Daniela was responsible for leading the evolution of integrations with strategic partners such as Salesforce, Google, NetSuite, and AppDirect, using technologies like Node.js, Redis, Express, Apex, jQuery, and JavaScript.

Prior to their tenure at DocuSign, they worked at Purdue University as the Director of Application Development from November 2012 to April 2014 and as the Manager of Software Development from February 2010 to November 2012. Their first professional role was as a Project Manager and Team Leader at Hewlett-Packard from March 2007 to August 2008. Daniela worked closely with business analysts and senior software engineers to define project scopes and deliverables.

In 2004, Daniela started their career as a Software Analyst at La Jolla International. During this time, they led web development efforts and conducted research for client-side integration of server-based systems, utilizing technologies such as ASP.

Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Costa Rica from 2005 to 2007. Furthermore, Daniela obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in October 2013.
