John Richert

John Richert serves as Principal at Richert Partners since October 2015, bringing extensive experience in the medical field. Previously, John held various significant roles, including VP of the Neurology Franchise in Global Medical Affairs and VP and Senior Neurology Fellow in Clinical Development at Biogen from March 2010 to October 2015. Additionally, John was EVP for Research & Clinical Programs at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society from April 2005 to March 2010 and served on the Board of Directors for the American Society for Experimental Neurotherapeutics from June 2017 to May 2020. Academic contributions were made as Professor and Chair of the Department of Microbiology & Immunology and Professor of Neurology at Georgetown University School of Medicine from 1980 to 2005. John began a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in October 1977 after serving as a Major in the US Air Force from August 1972 to August 1974. Educational achievements include an MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and an internship and residency in Medicine at the Mayo Clinic.
