Sandy Markengeorge

Sandy MarkenGeorge is a dynamic healthcare executive with extensive experience in nursing and healthcare management. Currently serving as the Director of Network Operations at HonorHealth since January 2021, Sandy is committed to the triple aim of healthcare. As an Online Faculty member at the University of Phoenix since November 2007, Sandy facilitates courses in healthcare communication and management for both undergraduate and graduate students. Previous positions include Chief Nursing Officer at Banner Health, where oversight was provided for a 465-bed facility, and RN Director roles at both Banner Desert Medical Center and Phoenix Children’s Hospital, focusing on pediatric care. Sandy's education includes a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Keller Management School, a Doctor's Degree in Nursing Administration from Chamberlain University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University.
