Zoraida Salas-Allison Maom

Zoraida Salas-Allison MAOM, BSN, RN has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and healthcare organizations. Zoraida currently holds the position of Director of Nursing at HonorHealth, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center as a Magnet Program Manager from 2021 to 2023 and as a Quality and Patient Safety Program Manager from 2020 to 2021.

From 2014 to 2020, Zoraida was a Clinical Informaticist at Dignity Health, where they served as a Clinical Architect for the Meaningful Use Team. Zoraida'sresponsibilities included analyzing and advising on Meaningful Use Reports for clinical informatics staff.

Before that, they were a Procurement Transplant Coordinator at Mayo Clinic Phoenix from 2013 to 2014, managing all activities related to organ procurement for the Transplant Center.

Zoraida also worked at Dignity Health (formerly known as Catholic Healthcare West) as a Clinical Device Strategy Manager from 2010 to 2013. In this role, they assessed and prepared regional hospital organizations for EHR implementation, conducted interviews and data analysis, and implemented best practices.

Prior to that, Zoraida worked at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse Manager from 2005 to 2010, managing multiple departments and achieving significant cost savings through contract labor optimization.

Zoraida began their career as a Transplant Coordinator at OneLegacy from 2002 to 2005, managing and educating on all aspects of the organ donation process.

Zoraida's early nursing experience includes working as a PICU Nurse at Children's Hospital Los Angeles from 1999 to 2002, and as a PICU and Pediatric Nurse at Children's Memorial Hospital from 1997 to 1999.

Zoraida Salas-Allison MAOM, BSN, RN completed a Masters of Art degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University between 2009 and 2012.
