James Deacon

James Deacon is currently the Communications Manager at Honoris United Universities, leading the communications efforts for the pan-African private higher education network. Prior to this role, James founded Holy's Home for Children, a social enterprise focused on providing vulnerable children in Ghana with a safe and supportive environment. James also has experience as a Country Manager at Djembe Consultants, an Account Director at MEST Africa, and held various positions at Gong Communications, FleishmanHillard Fishburn, and Bell Pottinger. James holds a BA (Hons) in Public Relations from the University of Greenwich and completed an Erasmus Intensive Programme in Public Relations at Université catholique de Louvain.
