Carlos Carretta

Carlos Carretta has worked in the software engineering and web development field since 2009. Carlos began their career as a Web Developer at Universidad Nueva Esparta, where they were responsible for Unix Server Configurations, web development, web application development, and database modeling. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at La Web Mercadeo Interactivo as a Web Developer, building websites and interactive applications for multiple clients. During this time, they also built CultureOwl.com from the ground up. In 2014, they served as a Teaching Assistant for Programing Foundations at Northeastern University. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Web Developer for Creative Marketing Concepts, Inc., and in 2018 they became a Web Developer for FIU Online, responsible for full stack web application development and server maintenance and configurations. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Honorlock as an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer.

Carlos Carretta obtained their High School Diploma from U.E Colegio El Angel in 2005. Carlos then attended UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, where they retired at the 4th semester while studying Systems Engineer. In 2008, they began studying Computer Science at Universidad Nueva Esparta and obtained their Bachelor degree in 2012. In 2021, Carlos obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
