Don Mikes is the current President and CEO at Hoober, Inc. Prior to this, they spent six years at Penske Truck Leasing as the Senior Vice President, Rental.

Don has always been a driven individual, taking pride in the effectiveness of their work. Throughout their time at Penske Truck Leasing, they led a team of transportation professionals to provide world-class products and services across North America and Australia. Under their management, the team saw capacity scalability and productivity output targets with virtually zero additional expense.

When marketplace challenges and opportunities evolved, the team was able to adapt quickly and reaped the benefits of their diversity and collaborative management ideology. They successfully managed call volume increases and reduced reservation processing timing while consistently closing business at or above targeted levels. By leveraging these learnings across both the consumer call center and commercial sides of the business, they were able to improve efficiencies, revenue and maximize profits.

Now as the President and CEO at Hoober, Inc., Don continues to challenge and inspire those around him to be the best that they can possibly be. Don is constantly evolving sales, operations, customer outreach and training processes to ensure that the company is always moving forward.
