Hood College
April Boulton serves as the Associate Provost and Dean of the Graduate School at Hood College since August 2006, overseeing more than 40 graduate programs and managing the Biomedical Research & Training Center. This role includes providing strategic direction to the Grants and Sponsored Projects office, supervising the Center for Teaching and Learning, and coordinating the academic program review process for over 100 academic offerings. Boulton has held various academic roles, including Associate Professor of Biology and Dean of the Graduate School at Hood College, and has experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Davis, and as a Lecturer and Lab Manager at Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District. Boulton holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of California, Davis, an M.S. in Animal Behavior from Bucknell University, and a B.S. in Psychology from Centre College.
