Audrey Vargason

Audrey Vargason is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in event management, sales, and operations within the arts and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Conference & Events Services at Hood College since March 2025, Vargason also contributes as a Board Member for The Boonsborough Museum of History. Previous roles include Operations Manager at The Maryland Theatre, where responsibilities encompassed box office management, marketing, and grant oversight, and Business Relations Manager at the Hagerstown Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, managing group sales operations. Vargason's career began with a focus on sales as a Sales Associate at Gifts Inn Boonsboro and further developed through various roles in event planning and member services in different organizations, including the National Museum of Civil War Medicine and Newport Hospitality Group. Vargason holds a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Arts in History & Global Studies, both from Hood College.
