Scott Hamilton has extensive work experience in the manufacturing industry, primarily in the wood and paper products sector. Scott began their career at Potlatch Corporation in 2004 as a Green End Superintendent and then moved to International Paper in 2006 as a Lumber Manager. In 2007, they joined Georgia-Pacific LLC as a Plant Manager. Scott then transitioned to Canfor in 2011 as a Dry End Superintendent. Scott further advanced their career at Interfor, where they worked from 2013 to 2019, starting as a Plant Manager and eventually becoming the General Manager Operations. Currently, Scott holds executive positions at Hood Industries, Inc., where they started in 2019 as the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations and later became the Vice President of Capital Planning and Investments in 2022.

Scott Hamilton obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management from Texas A&M University. Scott completed their education at the university from 1984 to 1989.
