Amy Boehm

Amy Boehm has a strong work experience in the field of tax compliance and accounting. Amy started their career as a Supervisor/Staff Accountant at Ikeda & Wong CPA Inc in 1996 and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as an Accountant at Ronald Uchishiba, CPA, where they compiled financial statements, prepared tax returns, and payroll reports. In 2004, they joined DZH Phillips LLP as a Senior Tax Manager, where they focused on tax compliance for various entities and also had experience in auditing and financial statements. Since 2012, Amy has been working at Hood & Strong LLP as a Tax Director, handling tax compliance for partnerships and corporations with multi-state activities and consolidations, primarily in real estate, manufacturing, and distribution sectors. Overall, Amy has a diverse background in tax compliance and accounting, with expertise in working with different types of organizations and industries.

Amy Boehm has a strong education history in the field of accounting. Amy obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University, where they attended from 2004 to 2011.

In terms of certifications, Amy obtained the Hawaii Certified Public Accountant (HI CPA) certification from the Hawaii Board of Accountancy in January 2019. Amy also obtained the California Certified Public Accountant (CA CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy in March 2020.
