Wouter Wilschut

Wouter Wilschut is an experienced professional in environmental management and water quality enforcement. Currently serving as Adviseur Vergunningverlening en Handhaving Waterkwaliteit at Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland since January 2021, Wouter focuses on policy and environment aspects. Prior roles include Projectleider Vergunningverlening en Handhaving at RUD Utrecht, leading projects related to environmental permits and enforcement from July 2014 to January 2021, and Projectleider Bodem at ATKB. Other notable positions include project leadership roles in permit and enforcement projects for the Provincie Utrecht and the Gemeente Den Haag. Wouter began the career with a part-time role at Gemeente Zoetermeer, after obtaining a degree in Environmental Technology from Hoge School Delft.
