Ronen Lahav

Ronen Lahav has extensive work experience in the software engineering field, with a focus on full-stack development. Ronen most recently worked as a Senior Software Engineer at hoopo, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they held a similar position at NCR Corporation from July 2021 to December 2022.

Before transitioning to software engineering, Ronen worked for several years in the business development and marketing field. Ronen served as the Manager of Business Development & Marketing at Lomdaat Ltd. from October 2005 to December 2013, where they were responsible for formulating strategies, attracting customers, and increasing the product range.

Ronen also has military experience, having served in the Israel Defense Forces as a warrior in the Oketz unit from November 1999 to November 2002. In this role, they trained and handled dogs for military applications, specializing in detecting explosives, weapons, and ammunition.

Ronen Lahav pursued their education chronologically, starting in 2006 at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Ronen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Marine biology and biotechnology, completing their studies in 2010. Later, in 2014, they attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they became a TCNP Technion Certified .Net Programmer in the field of Information Technology.
