Jennifer Williams

Jennifer Williams has extensive work experience in information security and privacy roles. Jennifer most recently served as Senior Director of Information Security at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) starting in May 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Information Security at HOOPP from November 2018 to May 2021.

Before joining HOOPP, Jennifer worked at William Osler Health System as the Regional Manager of Information Systems Security & Privacy from November 2015 to November 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Manager of Systems Security & Privacy from April 2010 to November 2015.

Jennifer began their career at ADP in 2003 and held various roles within the company. Jennifer served as an Information Systems Internal Auditor/Information Security Analyst from October 2007 to April 2010. Jennifer also worked as an Application Development Business Analyst from October 2006 to October 2007, a Business Functional Metrics Analyst from June 2006 to October 2007, and a Payroll Banking Analyst from April 2003 to June 2006.

Jennifer Williams has a diverse educational background with a focus on professional development and executive education. In 2000, they obtained an Accounting Certificate from Seneca Polytechnic with a specialization in Accounting and Finance. Continuing their education, Jennifer completed additional certifications, including becoming a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA Toronto in March 2009 and acquiring an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from IRCA Global in June 2008. Their extensive professional development journey includes enrolling in the Advanced Health System Leadership Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2018. Jennifer also pursued executive education programs at Schulich ExecEd, completing the Broadening Opportunities Through Leadership Diversity and Inclusion (B.O.L.D) program from 2022 to 2023, followed by HOOPP's Senior Leadership Program in 2023.
