Tajeshwar Sidhu

Tajeshwar Sidhu has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving in a Global Macro role at HOOPP since October 2014. Prior to this, Tajeshwar played a significant role at OMERS Capital Markets from 2007 to October 2014, focusing on the Multi-Strategy Portfolio, where responsibilities included managing a $1.5 billion Multi-Strategy Fund, overseeing equity portfolios with a maximum gross exposure of $9 billion, and conducting capital markets research with a global macroeconomic outlook. Earlier career experience includes positions as Senior Analyst in Trading Room Risk Management at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce from 2004 to 2007 and various roles within quantitative and active equities. Tajeshwar holds an MBA in Financial Engineering from Schulich School of Business, and a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, complemented by additional studies at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
