William Mac, MBA, CPA, CMA has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. William started their career at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) in 2002 as a Help Desk Specialist. From there, they progressed to roles such as Developer, Sr. Business Analyst & Application Support Lead, Team Lead in Business Systems Analysis, Scrum Master, and Product Owner in Finance. In 2020, they became a Senior Manager in Corporate Solutions, focusing on finance and data. William then transitioned to Senior Manager of Investment Solutions in Real Estate & Private Equity, before their recent role as Director of Technology Delivery in Alternative Investments. Prior to joining HOOPP, William worked as a Java Developer at RPM Technologies and as a Programmer Analyst at Air Liquide. With their extensive experience and expertise, William Mac is a valuable asset to any organization.

William Mac holds a diverse education history. William obtained their CPA, CMA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2015, specializing in accounting. In the same year, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at the Schulich School of Business - York University, focusing on accounting and finance. Prior to this, in 2005, William earned their B. Eng & Mgmt degree from McMaster University, where they studied software and investment finance.

In addition to their formal education, William Mac has also acquired various certifications. In 2018, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in 2008, they obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) certification from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). Most recently, in 2023, William completed the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance and the AI Product Management Nanodegree from Udacity in 2019.
