Charles King

Charles King has a diverse work experience in the credit union industry. Charles recently served as the EVP and Chief Administration Officer at Hoosier Hills Credit Union since December 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Risk Officer/Corporate Attorney at the same company. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Indiana University Credit Union, starting as a Compliance Officer and progressing to VP of Compliance Officer.

Charles King attended the University of Evansville from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Charles then went on to Indiana University Maurer School of Law and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Charles King also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager program at the Compliance Education Institute. In 2017, they became a Credit Union Compliance Expert through the Credit Union National Association. In 2015, Charles King earned the certification of Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist from ACAMS, and also completed the Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert program through CUNA -- Credit Union National Association.
