Allan Acker

Allan Acker, MBA, serves as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Hoosier Racing Tire Corp. since June 2015, specializing in drag racing and specialty tires. Acker's role involves overseeing the development of a comprehensive range of tires designed for high-performance applications, including both bias and radial types for speeds ranging from 80mph to 280mph, as well as custom private label tires. Previous positions include serving as a Product Development Engineer and holding internships in mechanical engineering at Morbark, Inc. and Dematic, where Acker focused on machine design and manufacturing processes. Acker earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Central Michigan University.
