Swara Narayanan's work experience begins in 2008, where they worked as a Co-op Student (Researcher) at Health Canada. In 2009, they worked on an Honours Research Project at Carleton University. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Researcher at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Starting in 2012, they interned at the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation, where they conducted an environmental scan of ICT-based innovation contests. In 2013, they became a School Engagement Coordinator at Me to We, focusing on sustainable development and making a difference in developing countries. In 2015, Swara joined EVERFI as a School Implementation Manager, and later worked as a Senior School Implementation Manager and Regional Director for Canada. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Director of K-12 Programs at EVERFI. Currently, Swara is employed at Hoot Reading, first as a Director of Implementation and Customer Experience, and now as the Vice President of Operations and Customer Experience, where they lead teams in operationalizing and optimizing processes for efficiency and scalability.
Swara Narayanan completed a BSc (Honours) degree in Biotechnology at Carleton University from 2006 to 2010. Swara then pursued a Masters of Management of Innovation degree in Business Administration and Management at the University of Toronto from 2011 to 2012.
