Cindy N. Tan

Cindy N. Tan is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in teaching, training, and community development. Currently serving as the Education Foundation/Community Development Director at the Harris County Department of Education, Cindy is responsible for fostering partnerships and promoting awareness of educational programs. Previous roles include training advisor at ExxonMobil, adjunct faculty at Lone Star College, and various teaching positions within public schools, where Cindy implemented innovative methods to enhance student engagement and learning. Cindy holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on technology integration from George Mason University, along with teaching certifications and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Houston.
