Calvin Lobo

Calvin Lobo is an established software developer with extensive experience in technical architecture, analytics, and cloud-based solutions. Currently serving as a Staff Software Developer at Hootsuite since February 2020, Calvin has played a pivotal role in reviewing architectural decisions and leading the design and implementation of analytics for the organization. Prior positions include software development at Stratoscale, focusing on AWS-compatible private cloud software, and engineering roles at Patriot One Technologies and Sensors & Software Inc., developing innovative systems for weapon detection and ground-penetrating radar applications, respectively. Calvin's academic foundation includes an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physics from McMaster University, complemented by various research and technical roles in academia and industry.
