Marya Smirnova

Marya Smirnova is an experienced UX Designer currently working at Hootsuite since February 2020. Previously, Marya held the position of Product Designer at Wishpond from July 2016 to July 2019, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to design and implement platform features while also creating marketing materials. Prior to this role, Marya served as a Videographer at Wishpond Technologies Ltd., where filming and animation supported educational content and marketing efforts. Early career experience includes work as a Video Producer for Axe Capoeira Vancouver, successfully producing engaging YouTube content. Marya holds a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Arts and Technology from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2015.
