William Beange

William Beange is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently serving as a Senior Software Developer II at Hootsuite since February 2016. William played a key role in the integration of the Sparkcentral product post-acquisition in 2021 and 2022, collaborating with international teams during the pandemic. Previously, William contributed to the development of the Boost social marketing product and the Amplify employee advocacy platform at Hootsuite, utilizing technologies such as Golang, Kafka, React, Python, AngularJS, and Ionic/Cordova. Prior experience includes mentorship at Lighthouse Labs, software engineering at Go2mobi and Kano, and a co-op position at ACD Systems. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Victoria.
