John Wasmuth

John Wasmuth has extensive work experience in tax and treasury roles. John most recently served as the Vice President of Tax & Treasury at Hoover CS since August 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Tax at LivaNova from April 2017 to August 2018. John also served as the Vice President of Tax at HERO Liquidating Trust from December 2016 to April 2017. Before that, they worked as the Vice President of Tax at Hercules Offshore from August 2010 to December 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Tax Manager at Repsol YPF from November 2007 to August 2010. John also held the role of Tax Director at Cameron from July 1995 to November 2007, and worked as an International Tax Specialist at Shell Oil Company from March 1990 to July 1995. Their career in tax started at Deloitte, where they served as a Tax Manager from an unspecified start date to 1990.

John Wasmuth attended Pasadena City College from 1975 to 1977. John then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting with a specialization in Tax and Accounting at The University of Texas at Austin from 1977 to 1984. Additionally, they obtained the CPA certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
