Stephen Schnaufer

Stephen Schnaufer is currently the VP of Tax at Donnelley Financial Solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Tax Director of Essendant, a wholesale distributor of business supply products, for over 15 years. In this role, Schnaufer was responsible for the tax operations of the company, which had annual sales of over $5 billion and operations in the U.S., Canada, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Mexico.

Schnaufer began their career at United Stationers (now Essendant) in 1999 as a Tax Supervisor. In 2002, they were promoted to Tax Manager and served in this role for two years before being promoted to Tax Director in 2004. Stephen held this position for 15 years until their current role at Donnelley Financial Solutions.

Stephen Schnaufer received a BS in Accounting from Dominican University and a Field in Taxation from DePaul Driehaus College of Business. Stephen also attended Northern Illinois University.
