Alan Forbes has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Alan began their career in 1998 as President of Auxilor, where they built the company from zero to 10 employees and from zero revenue to $1.1M before selling to their co-founders. In 2001, they assumed the role of Product Manager at Percussion Software. In 2003, they became Sales Engineer and Account Manager at GSX Groupware Solutions, where they managed product customization projects and assisted customers with configuring a monitoring solution for Domino, Sametime, and BlackBerry servers. In 2007, they joined the Federal Aviation Administration as Senior Lotus Notes & Web Developer, where they developed the next-generation browser application used to track compliance certifications of airplane components. In 2008, they joined CooperTeam as Technical Product Manager / Sales Engineer, where they were responsible for all pre-sales demos and technical support for Desktop Manager, MailFlow Analyer, and InfoNSF. In 2009, they joined RPR Wyatt as Chief Technology Officer / Vice President of Product Development, where they were the inventor and lead evangelist of VitalSigns. In 2013, they became President of Epic Software LLC, where they published best-selling books on Amazon. In 2017, they joined Hoozin Inc as Chief Technology Officer, where they drove product strategy for an out-of-the-box collaboration solution. In 2020, they joined Innovative Programming Associates, Inc. as Chief Technology Officer, where they provide senior leadership and technical direction for a virtual company producing software that helps drive cutting-edge animal research.

Alan Forbes has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University between 1983 and 1987. Alan then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 1989 to 1997. Alan has also obtained certifications from Microsoft, IBM, and IBM Champion 2017 - Collaboration Solutions in 2019, 2001, and 2017 respectively.
