Hasnat Sarkar

Hasnat Sarkar has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Hasnat began their career as a Practicing Lawyer at the District and Sessions Judge Court in Dhaka in 2008. In this role, they prepared legal documents, conducted trials, and handled land-related matters. In 2012, they joined Aman Group of Companies Limited as a Corporate Lawyer, where they drafted and reviewed agreements, communicated with government authorities, and managed legal suits and cases. In 2018, Hasnat joined Apex Footwear Limited as an Assistant Manager - Legal Affairs, eventually becoming the Head of Legal & Compliance. In this role, they oversaw the provision of legal services, provided counsel on various legal matters, drafted and approved legal documents, and managed litigations and complaints. Currently, Hasnat works as the Head of Legal at Hop Lun, a position they started in 2023.

Hasnat Sarkar earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Islamic University, Bangladesh, where they studied between 2001 and 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Law from Islamic University, Bangladesh for the academic year 2005-2006.
