Hope
Sue Haptonstahl has over three decades of experience in special education and vocational coordination. Currently serving as an IEP Liaison at The Hope Institute for Children and Families since October 2012, Sue previously worked as a Vocational Coordinator for Springfield Public Schools from August 2007 to August 2012, providing vocational counseling and developing training materials in collaboration with the Springfield Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Sue spent many years as a Teacher and Vocational Coordinator with Springfield Public School District 186 from August 1989 to June 2012. Sue earned a Master of Education in Special Education and Transition from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Bachelor of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Illinois State University.
