Rosario Esparza Zavala

Rosario Esparza Zavala is currently an Outreach Assistant at Hope Builders. From August 2018 to May 2020, they were an Educational Opportunity Program Admissions Assistant at California State University - East Bay. In this role, they assisted the EOP Outreach and Admissions Coordinator with various activities, including clerical work, presentations, and campus tours for middle, high school, and transfer students. Rosario also helped to keep and organize student application information. From October 2017 to May 2019, Rosario was an AVID Tutor at Castro Valley Unified School District. In this role, they provided a resource of higher education to high school students to encourage them to continue their studies and assisted them in finding group solutions in their core class questions. Rosario was also a Educational Opportunity Program Peer Mentor at California State University - East Bay from September 2017 to June 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Food Service Worker at Aramark Refreshment Services from September 2016 to June 2017.
