Janice Jackson, EdD, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Hope Chicago, an organization aiming to raise and invest $1 billion in college scholarships for Chicago Public School graduates. In addition to this role, Jackson is a member of the Board of Directors at Edmentum and a Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. Previously, Jackson held various leadership positions in the Chicago Public Schools, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Education Officer, where responsibilities included overseeing compliance, launching the GoCPS application, and supporting academic success across 660 schools. Jackson's educational background includes a Doctorate in Education from the University of Illinois Chicago, along with multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching and History.
