Edie Kastenschmidt is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Founding Principal at HOPE Christian Schools, a position held since 2015. Prior to this, Edie was the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at St. Marcus from 2011 to 2015, where responsibilities included coaching teachers, developing professional development sessions, and establishing curriculum. Edie's background also includes serving as the Director of Teaching and Learning at the Center for Urban Teaching, mentoring new urban educators, and coordinating educational conferences from 2009 to 2011. Earlier experience includes teaching first grade at EAGLE College Prep, where active lesson plans led to high student performance. Edie holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Wisconsin Lutheran College.
