Quentien Tyra

Quentien Tyra is a dedicated educator currently serving as a 4th Grade Teacher at HOPE Christian Schools since July 2023, focusing on instilling values related to Christ, college readiness, and character development, along with primary math and science instruction. Prior to this role, Quentien worked as a Substitute Teacher at Milwaukee Academy of Science from November 2022 to July 2023, specializing in middle school settings and effectively creating a positive learning atmosphere. Quentien's diverse experience also includes roles in various sectors such as a Warehouse Associate at Amazon and a Solar Installer at Home Team Energy Company. An alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Quentien holds a degree in Land Use Planning, Natural Resources Management, and Policy, complemented by involvement in equity research and special projects during the university tenure.
