HOPE Church
Wes Peterson, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Pastor and Director of Outreach and Strategic Development at HOPE Church RVA since July 2017. Previously, Wes held the position of Director of Church Partnerships at Samaritan's Purse from September 2014 to July 2017 and served as Executive Pastor at Park Springs Bible Church from August 2008 to August 2014, where responsibilities included leading staff and aligning church operations with the strategic vision set by the board of elders. Additionally, Wes worked as a Leadership Coach and Consultant with Commission to Every Nation from August 2007 to August 2014, focusing on biblical coaching for church and non-profit leaders. As the founder of OneVerse at Seed Company from March 2003 to September 2007, Wes developed partnerships to advance Bible translation efforts. Wes holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University (2023), an MBA in Global Leadership from Taylor University (2009), and a BA in Education with a focus on Student Ministry from Moody Bible Institute (2000).
