Elizabeth Council

Elizabeth Council serves as the Director of Digital Communications at Hope College, leading the digital communications team and setting strategic direction for the college's website and digital campaigns since January 2015. Previously held roles at Hope College include Manager of Digital Communication Strategy and Digital Strategist, where responsibilities included executing integrated marketing campaigns to enhance engagement and grow enrollment. Council has also contributed to TEDx Muskegon as part of the Steering and Marketing Committees and served on the Board of Directors for Pioneer Resources. Past experience includes roles at RCP Marketing as an Account Manager and Digital Marketing Strategist, as well as positions with West Michigan Jobs Group, Net Owl Media LLC, and as the owner of WeeCycle Children's Resale Boutique. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Political Science from Michigan State University.
