Erik Alberg

Erik Alberg currently serves as the Director of Design and Production for the Performing Arts and Technical Director for Events and Conferences at Hope College since July 2006. In addition to this role, Erik has been actively involved as a Lighting Designer for Hope Summer Repertory Theatre since 2005 and holds the position of Vice Commissioner for the Sound Commission at USITT since the same year. Erik's previous experience includes working as an Associate Lighting Designer for Come On Over from 2007 to 2009, and as a Lighting/Sound Designer for Hope Summer Repertory Theatre between 2005 and 2009. Erik also contributed as a Lighting Designer for the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival from 1994 to 2006. Erik's academic background includes an MFA in Technical Production from the University of Delaware (1992-1995) and a BA in Technical Theatre from Hope College (1986-1990).
