Kate Ralston

Kate Ralston has over a decade of experience in education and alumni engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Alumni Engagement at Hope College since August 2013, Ralston has previously held positions there as Associate Director of Alumni & Family Engagement and Campus Visit Coordinator. Prior to this, Ralston worked at Washtenaw Christian Academy as a Secondary Social Studies Teacher and School Secretary. Additional experience includes roles at Haworth Inn and Conference Center as a Front Desk Clerk and Auditor, and as a Student/Substitute Teacher at West Ottawa Public Schools. Ralston's career began at Starbucks Coffee Company as an Assistant Store Manager and JP's Coffee and Espresso Bar as a Barista. Ralston holds a BA in Education, History, and Psychology from Hope College, completed in 2009, and graduated from Jenison High School in 2005.
